Ugo is an agriculturist highly trained in viticulture and winemaking. Assisting him there are his family and several workers. The winemaker Angelo Bertacchini is talented and experienced.

The production is loyal to the terroir, as Ugo has always preferred a close, direct, total relationship with the lands.

Ugo is looking for the perfect combination between tradition and innovation in both the vineyards and the cellar. Recently he planted high-density vineyards, choosing among native Chianti's area grapes varieties, such as sangiovese, colorino and canaiolo.

A total devotion to quality in both materials and processes, with the ideal terroir always in mind, is the starting point of a continous research for a unique identity and the high stardands of the overall production.

The goal for Ugo is the perfect ripeness of the harvested clusters, together with a wine cellar process carried out with care and minimal interference, in order to preserve all the organoleptic riches of the fruit, and tranfer it fully to his wines.
